The fourth volume in ‘The Wheel of Time’ series. Published in the UK by Orbit Books in December 1992 (ISBN: 1-85723-079-5). This was preceded by the US edition which was printed in November of the same year. The jacket shares the same illustration (Daryl K. Sweet) as the US edition and is priced at £15.99. As with the previous volume this comes with matching front and rear full colour maps. Later prints are identified on the copyright page with the words ‘reprinted’ and the year.

This is the first volume in the series that was also published by Tor Books in the US as a signed, limited edition of just 150 copies. Fully bound in green leather with gold blocking to spine with matching slipcase and the original cover artwork bound into the book.

The UK 1st printing of this book is unsurprisingly more readily available and cheaper than the previous volumes. Expect to pay £30-50 for a decent copy. The Tor limited edition is extremely rare and if you can get hold of it is likely to be in excess of £500.
