The tenth volume in ‘The Wheel of Time’ series. Published in the US by Tor books in January 2003 (ISBN: 0-765-30592-5) this special signed, limited edition was published simultaneously with the US trade hardcover edition. Issued without dust-jacket the boards are bound in green leather with gold titling to the spine. Comes with matching green leather slipcase. As is customary with earlier volumes this has full-colour map end pages – it also has the trade edition dust-jacket artwork (again by Daryl K. Sweet) bound into the volume. Signed directly by the author to a limitation page this edition is limited to just 150 numbered copies with a further 52 lettered copies originally reserved for the publisher and author. This is also a first edition (identified by a full number-line on the copyright page) and originally retailed for $200.

The scarcity (copies only occasionally surface on the open market), the limited edition nature and the verified signature of this volume makes copies expensive. Although cheaper than the leather bound copies of previous volumes in the series, for a good condition, numbered copy expect to pay in excess of £450. For a lettered copy (which come onto the market even less often) then your guess is as good as mine!
